Agreement to Terms

By booking or using Icon Black Car Service's transportation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

Icon Black Car Service provides premium ground transportation services in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas, including but not limited to airport transfers, corporate transportation, special events, and group transportation via luxury vehicles and party buses.

Booking and Reservations

Reservation Process: Reservations can be made by phone, email, or through our website contact form. All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation.

Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate pickup/drop-off information, contact details, and service requirements. We are not liable for delays or missed services due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

Confirmation: All reservations will be confirmed via phone or email. Services are not guaranteed until you receive confirmation from Icon Black Car Service.

Pricing and Payment

Rates: Service rates are based on distance, time, vehicle type, and service requirements. Quoted rates include standard gratuity unless otherwise specified.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment may be required in advance for certain services or new customers.

Additional Charges: Additional fees may apply for:

• Wait time exceeding the included complimentary waiting period
• Route changes or additional stops requested during service
• Excessive cleaning required due to spills or damage
• Tolls, parking fees, or other incidental charges
• Late-night or holiday surcharges when applicable

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Customer:

• Cancellations made 24+ hours before scheduled pickup: Full refund
• Cancellations made 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% charge
• Cancellations made less than 12 hours before pickup: Full charge
• No-shows: Full charge applies

Cancellation by Icon Black Car Service: We reserve the right to cancel service due to inclement weather, vehicle mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or reschedule at no additional charge.

Passenger Conduct

Passengers agree to:

• Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not smoke in vehicles (smoking is strictly prohibited)
• Not consume illegal substances
• Not exceed vehicle passenger capacity
• Be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during service
• Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts when required by law

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate service without refund for violation of these conduct requirements or behavior that threatens the safety or comfort of the driver or other passengers.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverages may be consumed by passengers of legal drinking age in party bus vehicles only. Passengers must provide their own alcohol; we do not provide or sell alcoholic beverages. The customer is responsible for ensuring all passengers consuming alcohol are 21 years of age or older. Open containers are prohibited in sedan and SUV services.

Lost and Found

Icon Black Car Service is not responsible for items left in vehicles. We will make reasonable efforts to return found items, but we assume no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Limitation of Liability

Icon Black Car Service shall not be liable for:

• Delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control
• Missed flights, meetings, or events due to unforeseen circumstances
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss or damage to personal property

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Insurance and Safety

All vehicles are properly insured and maintained in accordance with North Carolina law. Our drivers are licensed, background-checked professionals committed to your safety and comfort.

Force Majeure

Icon Black Car Service is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, acts of terrorism, pandemics, government restrictions, or labor disputes.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
